Hi, I'm Tasia!
Last year, in the midst of a pandemic, I had this crazy idea for a children's clothing boutique. As the idea turned in my mind over several months, it evolved into what it is now - a children's boutique unlike any other.
Blue Kangaroo Clothing sources clothes locally, across the United States from small business designers who at one point had a crazy idea just like me.
These designers specialize in quality, small batch made pieces. Many of these pieces are Certified Organic Cotton, Certified Organic Bamboo, Eco-Friendly and handmade.
But, the one thing that's more important than supporting local, is supporting our global community, in the most ethically way possible. So it's important to note that there are a couple of small businesses that I support that source their pieces from outside of the US - specifically Mexico, Guatemala and Nepal.
The artisans in these regions participate in Fair Trade and each item is still handmade in small batches. A portion of proceeds are also donated back to these communities.
My goal from the beginning was to ensure none of my pieces came from a big factory. I've succeeded in that goal, and I'm hoping you will all be just as excited as I am to spread the word!
If you haven't done so already, be sure to "Like" and "Follow" Blue Kangaroo Clothing on Facebook and Instagram!
